Passionate about education, Justin has worked in the sector for 25 years. He came to Communications Management from the University of Hertfordshire’s Communications Department and initially set up an education practice before taking over the company and developing its vision as the leading consultancy for education and skills clients.
As Managing Director, Justin’s wealth of experience informs all our work. He has worked with over 200 education clients across the whole spectrum of the sector, and has particular experience in reputation analysis, perceptions research and providing strategic counsel to education leaders.
A well-respected and well-known figure in the sector, Justin speaks regularly on education and communications. His analysis of the changing landscapes of education is sought out by many organisations and he regularly contributes articles and speaks at conferences, most recently at the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).
Justin is a Fellow of the CIPR and was a founding member of the CIPR Education group who launched the annual CIPR Education Journalism Awards. Justin has recently been leading an examination of academics working with the media, you can read more here:
- Developed and led a strategic community engagement programme to support the development of a 150 hectare campus for the University of Cambridge
- Devised and implemented a communications campaign with the Royal Shakespeare Company to directly influence and change how Shakespeare is taught in schools
- Led a ten-year reputation campaign with Coventry University leading the team that provided strategic counsel, creative campaigns, public affairs and media relations to enhance the reputation of Coventry University, culminating in their winning of the University of the Year 2015.
